The story of Owen
Owen was diagnosed at age three after spending the first three years of his life in and out of doctors offices and hospitals. He finally received the diagnosis from Boston Children’s Hospital and he immediately started infusions. Owen has been going to the hospital every other week for the past 5 years. Some days are easier than others. He is so brave and strong, he hates needles but knows that his medicine works for him. His infusions have changed his quality of life. He went from being healthy one to two days every few months to be healthy the majority of the year. He is a fighter! It’s amazing to see his sense of humor come through. He is a blessing to all
