The story of Logan

Nothing about Logan is a typical 7 year old, Logan was born via forceps at just a day shy of 40 weeks. How ever traumatic the delivery was, everything seemed normal. Throughout his first year, he was behind but growing with no red flags. At 8 months congestion started, it became Chronic, which developed into chronic ear infections, strep, and sinus infections. At 18 months he under went tubes placement in his ears, and at the age of two his tonsils and adenoids were removed. At 12 months we noticed his eyes weren’t straight, and would wander. So off to the eye doctor to realize he would need eye muscle surgery to correct his vision. After early intervention, and pre school biased therapies, we took Mr Logan to the neurologist. There the doctors informed us that Logan has Autism and we would need to do some blood work to determine if he had any micro deletions. Later we would find out about his Chromosome 18p deletion.
Through his two newest diagnosis we would find out more and more answers to the puzzle that is Logan.
Through research we would find not only Autism Spectrum Disorder,
Strabismus
Amblyopia both eyes
Apraxia of speech
Dyspraxia
Acrocyansis
Hypotonia
Enlarged thorax
Pectus excavatum
First degree AV Block
Hashimotos
Hypothyroidism

There is still so much to learn about Logan, but he is our warrior and we wouldn’t have him any other way.
