Hoy es el día de las personas que han sufrido, que han luchado, que han llorado por obtener un diagnóstico, finalmente después de visitar a un sin fin de médicos y practicarse numerosos estudios, llega un nombre, Policondritis Recidivante.
He vivido con Policondritis desde mis 13 años, no ha sido un camino fácil pero en este camino he encontrado personas increíbles.
Y eso es apenas el comienzo del inicio de un largo túnel (inicio de numerosos medicamentos, todos ellos con efectos secundarios, consultas médicas, exámenes de rutina, cambios en todos los sentidos de la vida).
Muchas gracias a rare disease day, por su apoyo incondicional hacia todos nosotros y en especial hacia mi persona.
Muchas gracias a los investigadores y todos los médicos que han entregado su trabajo, su inteligencia, su sabiduría, su conocimiento para poder entender de una mejor manera a esta enfermedad rara, gracias… Sin ustedes todo sería aún más difícil.
Muchas gracias a cada persona de los diferentes grupos de apoyo en el mundo, por contribuir, preguntar, apoyar y siempre preocuparse por los demás.
Y especialmente en este 2024 pienso en todas esas personas (adultos, niños) que van a iniciar este difícil camino, les decimos que no están solos y sé que los que el día de hoy vivimos con esta enfermedad siempre estaremos dispuestos a ayudarlos, sólo nosotros entendemos el significado de este túnel.
El 2024 va todas las personas que desafortunadamente van a vivir con Policondritis Recidivante, hoy va por ustedes.

Today is the day of the people who have suffered, who have fought, who have cried to obtain a diagnosis, finally after visiting countless doctors and undergoing numerous studies, a name arrives, Relapsing Polychondritis.
I have lived with Polychondritis since I was 13 years old, it has not been an easy path but on this path I have met incredible people.
And that is just the beginning of the beginning of a long tunnel (start of numerous medications, all of them with side effects, medical consultations, routine exams, changes in all senses of life).
Thank you very much to rare disease day, for your unconditional support towards all of us and especially towards me.
Many thanks to the researchers and all the doctors who have given their work, their intelligence, their wisdom, their knowledge to be able to understand better way to this rare disease, thank you… Without you everything would be even more difficult.
Thank you very much to each person from the different support groups in the world, for contributing, asking, supporting, and always caring about others.
And especially in 2024 I think of all those people (adults, children) who are going to start this difficult path, we tell them that they are not alone, and I know that those of us who live with this disease today will always be willing to help them, only us We understand the meaning of this tunnel.
2024 is for all the people who unfortunately are going to live with Relapsing Polychondritis, today is for you.
