Dylan ‘s Story
As many of you know Dylan was diagnosed with Glut1 Deficiency, this is a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain metabolism. Dylan has been on a very strict diet and has improved tremendously, unfortunately the diet is the only treatment and not a cure. Dylan has difficult with speech, both receptive and expressive language. He has episodes of ataxia, which is difficulty in coordination of movements.
Dylan loves to sing, dance, go swimming,bowling, play at the park and go to Knott’s Berry Farm. He also plays baseball and Love’s it! He Love’s spending time with his Bamma! Also spending time with his Aunt Myrn and Uncle Joe! Dylan, is always happy even if he’s having a rough day. He is my hero! I learn from him everyday!
