The story of Wendy

I have Myotonic Dystrophy. Discovered at age 29 when I had cataract surgery. Something very odd for a 29 year old. It causes muscle weakness, muscle pain, chronic fatigue and many other problems. Appearance can be altered with a long face, droopy eyelids and high cheekbones. I have the long face and when I talk a lot of people have a hard time understanding as speech is affected. Walk different, but not that noticeable. Get tired more than the average person and require a lot more sleep. Very few people have ever heard of this disease.
