The Pituitary Foundation

About The Pituitary Foundation

The Pituitary Foundation is a national support and information organisation for people with pituitary conditions, their families, friends and carers. We are the UK’s leading charity providing support to people affected by disorders of the pituitary gland such as acromegaly, Cushing’s, prolactinoma, diabetes insipidus and hypopituitarism.

Pituitary conditions are rare, affecting around 70,000 people in the UK. People often struggle to be diagnosed, and are on lifelong medications.

The Pituitary Foundation is funded by donations, and we offer patients support through support groups and telephone helplines, whilst trying to raise awareness of Pituitary conditions.

We are happy to once again be supporting #RareDiseaseDay!
