About SaCro Tales
SaCro Tales is a project that I have created to bring awareness to a rare condition – Sacrococcygeal Teratoma (SCT). SaCro Tales’ aim to create a platform where people who have had experiences with an SCT can share their stories to bring awareness to the condition and hopefully, connect with others.
There is limited awareness around this condition and the potential effects of it on people’s lives, especially long-term. Much of what can be learnt about the realities of it, is confined within the realms of very few private support groups. I want SaCro Tales to be public – for everybody. So that we can, not only connect those that know about it but also inform those that don’t. I hope that we could also use our experiences to educate those who may never hear about SCT otherwise.
It is a very niche subject matter and so far, the audience is small, but this is something that I am passionate about and intend to continue working on for it to grow and develop with time. I hope that it can become not only an informative and connecting project but also a charitable one.
