About Prader Willi Vlaanderen
1987: Parents set up the Prader Willi Vlaanderen association.
Purposes:
1. supporting the parents, organizing contact days with lectures by professionals, giving practical workshops, dispersing info by newsletters, bringing family’s together to support each other and to share experiences
2. talking and negotiating with authority’s, participating in meetings and conferences, going for prospection, making contact with other PWS organizations.
3. making PWS more knowable to become more understanding and adapted care.
