About MORE Community
MORE Community or Mom of Rare Disease Community is a community that houses mothers of children with rare diseases and children with special needs. MORE Community was formed by 11 mothers who have children with rare diseases and children with special needs in Malang City, Indonesia, on March 17, 2020. MORE Community is actively carrying out educational activities, such as online talkshows, and sharing information about rare diseases, children with special needs, parenting, and children’s health. MORE Community have also formed a support group that accommodates parents, survivors, and those who care about children with rare diseases and other children with special needs to share stories and share information and experiences. We regularly hold events during Rare Disease Day to raise awareness of the people in our area about rare diseases.
