Indonesia participated in Rare Disease Day for the first time in 2016! They held an event which included a blood drive and a consultation corner for patients and family. For Rare Disease Day 2017, an awareness-raising campaign called “Infinite Hope: A Tribute to Rare Warriors” collected testimonies from the parents of children living with a rare disease and published them on social media.
2020 saw a Rare Disease Day roadshow and March taking place in Jakarta, Depok and Malang with photo sessions, a photo campaign and interactive talk shows.
