Centre for Omic Sciences is a,newly established research centre at Islamia College Peshawar awarding MPhil and PhD degrees in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics.
We investigate the causative variants in rare Mendelian Disorders in Saudi Arabian and Pakistani populations using WES strategies. We have screened several familial cases in the past four years and have developed an internal data analysis pipeline for screening new cases. International collaboration will improve our individual work by sharing the information of rare variants identified in these highly inbred populations.
