“KRIKOS ZOIS” Greek Society for Patients and Friends of Patients with Inherited Metabolic Diseases together with “95’Rare Alliance Greece” has launched a nation-wide campaign “Strengthening Rare Disease Voices” for increasing awareness of rare diseases of health professionals, policy makers and the general public. The Greek Rare Diseases Community is uniting arms on Rare Disease Day 2022 by Illumination of public buildings both in Athens and Thessaloniki , video spots on TV describing the patients rare disease odyssey, radio interviews and banners on bus stops in various areas of these cities (these will continue to be a continual reminder of rare diseases!).
