On the occasion of World Rare Disease Day, PKS Italia APS, the Italian Association for Pallister-Killian Syndrome, and the Fondazione CHOPS Malattie Rare ETS join their voices in an extraordinary event dedicated to music and hope. In a world where rare diseases often remain in the shadows, building support networks and promoting scientific research are the pillars on which to construct a future of hope.
The project “Vita in te ci credo” (I Believe Life in You), inspired by the words of the legendary Italian music lyricist Mogol, comes to life on March 2nd at the “Teatro Consorziale di Budrio” (Bologna). This unique evening will pay tribute to Lucio Dalla, an icon of Italian music and unforgettable artist from Bologna, with “Lucio C’è” (Lucio Is Here), a journey of notes and previously untold stories, written and performed by Marcello Balestra, his longtime collaborator. It will transport the audience into the heart of Dalla’s art, in a celebration of life, music, and memory. The event promises not only great melodies and surprise guests but also the opportunity to support two noble causes: the research on Pallister-Killian Syndrome and CHOPS syndrome, bridging artistic talent with a commitment to research and support for families affected by rare diseases.
