The Jackson Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution with nearly 3,000 employees in locations across the United States (Maine, Connecticut, California), Japan and China. As part of our mission to improve human health, and as home to the Rare Disease Translational Center, JAX is proud to support Rare Disease Day each year.
Across all of our campuses on the week leading up to Rare Disease Day, JAX employees are showing their stripes by posting messages on social media, taking selfies at Rare Disease Day selfie stations, using Rare Disease Day Zoom backgrounds, and more. Each of our U.S. campuses are also lighting up for rare to show our support for the millions of people around the globe living with a rare disease.
