On the occasion of the international “Rare Disease Day” 2024, our non-profit organisation Chiara will organise its film-debate at the Cinéma For&ver in Mouscron at 7pm on 29 February.

Synopsis of the film: William and Olga are faced with an unexpected diagnosis. Their only daughter Sandra (6 years old) suffers from Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, a rare muscle disease. He has about a year to live. The world of the family is falling apart. The father refuses to give up hope and throws himself body and soul into a fight against the pharmaceutical industry.
