Rare Voices Forum

Topic: Overcoming stumbling blocks together – Ways and opportunities for more resilience in rare diseases

On Feb. 28, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Rare Voices Forum will take place as part of Rare Disease Day.

The Rare Voices Forum is a virtual information event aimed especially at people affected by a rare disease and their relatives. It is intended not only to create awareness for rare diseases, but also to bring together affected people, patient representatives and physicians from different therapeutic areas and provide a platform for joint exchange.

Thematically, the focus of this year’s event is on the challenges of rare diseases and the ways and possibilities how to deal with them. In addition to interesting reports on the experiences of those affected and those who treat them, you can also expect a group discussion together with all participants.

This year’s medical speakers are PD Dr. med. Jens Panse (Senior Physician/Deputy Clinic Director of the Clinic for Hematology, Oncology, Hemostaseology and Stem Cell Transplantation and Medical and Managing Director of the Center for Integrated Oncology (CIO) Aachen, Germany) and PD Dr. med. Jürgen Rech (Senior Physician for Rheumatology and Immunology and Head of the Autoinflammation Special Consultation Unit of the University Hospital Erlangen, Germany).

More information about the program and registration can be found on the website Rare Voices Forum (see on the right).

The event will be in German. It is organized by Swedish Orphan Biovitrum GmbH.
