Description

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has 36 million population. Most of the families prefer to marry within their closer relatives which has greatly enhanced the propagtion of autosomal recessive genetic disorders. These genetic diseases might be isolated or present in a group of multiple abnormalities including brain, eyes, ears, lungs, heart, bones, kidneys and skin.

We have engaged BS/MS/PhD students and faculty members from all arround the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to prepare a research poster explaining the patient clinical diagnosis, molecular testing (if any), and their possible manangement plan.

Centre of Omic Sciences is committed to provide the basic information for the Rare Disease Day purpose and its importance on the public awareness and solidarity with the affected individuals. We are also committed to provide awareness to the local community and enroll these patients in research of MPhil and PhD Scholars to overcome the disease burden in our future generations.
