Dr K Thangaraj, Director, Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is giving a talk on ‘Marriages and Rare Genetic Diseases : Endogamy and consanguinity, an introspection’ and Dr. Mohua Chakraborty Choudhury, DST STI Policy Fellow, Centre for Policy Research- Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru is giving a talk on ‘Challenges faced by the rare disease community in India and community level interventions for supporting them’.
