Rare Disease Network South is organising an online Rare Disease Day on 26 February 2022 to celebrate Rare Disease Day 2022.
We will address the following themes through lectures with examples of best practice from health professionals, patients and relatives
– Navigating a fragmented healthcare system.
– Coordinated care: a patient perspective
– Rare diseases and mental health: emotional difficulties for people with a rare diagnosis and coping with mental health problems.
The theme day is aimed at people living with a rare disease, family members, health professionals, politicians, policy makers and anyone who wants to understand the challenges faced by “rare” people in Sweden.
