Description
Rare disease patients are considered 'invisibile' due to the marginalization, discrimination and stigma still often associated with rare diseases. They live with heavy economic, social and psichological burdens.
Due to lack of sufficient sacientific and medical knowledge, poor communication between healthcare professionals, poor listening and attention to symptoms, many patients are not diagnosed and their disease remains undentified.
