Stereotypic movement dissorder

The story of Lee Anne

Hi mother of 7…my daughter who is now 14 was diagnosed properly at the age of 10 with stereotypic movement dissorder…before this she was diagnosed with tourette from the age of 3…both of them look very similar but because she had patterns and ticks since she was a new born and had multiple tics that never went away from the start or dint change…we did some work with help of a sphychiatrist for a few months she has been able to live a full and functional life…from having 100 ticks a day to having maybe 3 to 4. She is rare because this mostly affects boys and is followed with adhd and others. She has also been lucky that she has not been medicated. Thank you
