The story of David

My dear friend, who has SPS wrote this poem. Mr. David F Napier is dear to my heart though we’ve never met! He had encouraged me with his faith in Christ, his positive attitude, and always cheering his fellow SPSers on.

The crags on the hills the perfect peace
We on that mountain a perfect release
We are roped together so we will not fall
Come friends hear the call
The serenity the stillness the beauty we see
We share it together you and me
So we climb ever higher to look down from above
What a blessing what a privilege to share our love
Because our love is different in so many ways
We have never met and yet we stay
To get up in the morning and fight another day
Courage that is just a word, warriors are we
For we live our lives and many see
Our brokenness our fatigue our lack of play
But we are alive and we can share our day
We are rare so rare that we are mystery to many
We do not want pity no, no, not any
I would rather be on this mountain filled with love
For this mountain so high the clouds above
Is our place to ponder and rethink our lives
A place to give thanks for partners husbands and wives.
So to those of you who hold the rope
May you be blessed with joy love and hope..
