The story of Rayven
I am the mother of two amazing boys. One of whom is in heaven (Ryan) the other is here on earth with me (Raylan). My boys were both born with a hereditary muscle disease called X-linked Myotubular Myopathy(XLMTM). This disease comes in three forms and my boys were diagnosis with the most severe form. The life expectancy of this disease is 1 year and 1 out of 50,000 males have a chance of being affected by it if it’s in their family genes. My boys are 2 out of 8 in my family who actually lived passed 1 year old with XLMTM. My first son Ryan lived until age 5. He spent 4 of those years in a hospital. My second son Raylan whom is now 2 came home at 3 months old. He is currently doing better than doctors or anyone would have expected. He is a miracle in plan sight and there is no other explanation than “GOD”.
