The story of Rebecca
My husband and I were so over excited when our little boy was born, at one and a half he was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy at first it was quite devastating but we decided we have to make the most of his amazing life and show him that he can do anything he puts his mind too. Thinking for a long time growing up we would have 4 or 5 kids to finding out the best way for us is to do IVF and then there’s no guarantee, but we are no going to give up. Don’t get me wrong we have bad days and wonder how we will cope but we need to be strong and show our son that anything is possible. Our lives have completely changed and we are dealing with things we never thought we would have too but it is what it is we can even be down and sad or live the most of what we have
