Hi all,
I got recently diagnosed with SCA1 51 CAG bases via a gene test here in Finland. I am able to still do the things fairly independantly as I got 41 points last that November in a Bergen balance test.Â
My goal is to fight this a long as I can and life life to the fullest. I have an amazing support network. It is very important to have that. Not only at home but work life too.
Hoping it becomes cheaper for stem cell research globally and is allowed at some point here in Finland. I believe it is not legal yet.
My mom suffered from this and my uncle. The were both left in isolation and that kills you.
I have the opposite of isoloation here and enjoy with my lovely family. Hope to continue to enjoy for a long time!
