The story of Andrea
Diagnosed at 34 years old with Pompe disease, a rare progressive metabolic disease. Due to a weak diaphragm I use a ventilator at night. I am unable to walk much so use a scooter to help get out and about. I have support from my family and PA’s and lead a happy and fulfilled life. I have recently started my own business as a Motivational speaker as I passionately believe that everyone can achieve in all aspects of their lives whatever their ability.
