Lightenings stroke me more than once but I am alive and kicking.

The story of Fabiana

I am a Medical Doctor graduated at University of São Paulo, Brazil; and a Desmoid and Dermatomyositis patient myself.
I had a lower back desmoid tumor in 1999.
It was amputated and recurred a year later. It was deeper, but a knew and massive amputation cured it untill today.
In January 2003 I removed a single ovarian Theratoma.
In January 2004 medical investigation of a pain chest found a big desmoid tumor all over the right muscle pectoralis minoris.
It was ressectable but almost unreconstructable because the security margin and the tumor were too large.
I took oral medication, and the tumor collapsed, vanishing slowly. I am tumor free since 2008.
In February 2013 I developed acute Arthritis, Vasculitis, and skin sores that led to the diagnosys of Dermatomyositis, which I have as a chronic condition.
