The story of Paige
For as long as I can remember, I have always been tired. An exhaustion that sleep didn’t help. I have Bipolar Disorder, so when I tell my doctors I am in pain and exhausted, they say it’s just my depression. Now I know it wasn’t.
In October 2017 (age 15) I become very sick, with an extreme Malar Rash, and for the first time in my life, doctors acknowledged that it WAS NOT IN MY HEAD. Lupus takes an average of 6 years to diagnose, so they can’t be certain. There is a HUGE relief knowing I’m not crazy. It’s real.
This is short, and my story has just begun, but I want to tell anyone and everyone to be thankful if your healthy, and if you feel ill, believe it is real and NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR YOUR HEALTH.Â
