The story of JMT
Keeping my disease, pain & emotions hidden for ease of friends & family and to avoid a repeat negative response at work (now silent in new job); focused instead on public face of strength, optimism and desired outcomes and finding daily blessings with gratitude. Presented with a very rare disease, misunderstood or unknown in medical profession and the world brings additional challenges as I live thru this life altering experience. Wish I could embrace this disease to champion its causality & treatment options to lessen others facing this diagnosis …. Yet for now, my livelihood depends on remaining hidden.
