The story of Shanita
I have myasthenia gravis. I was undiagnosed for almost 14 years. Always had the same symptoms of muscle weakness eye droop, fatigue but nobody knew. I was always mistaken for possible stroke but that was not it so I just was one of those weird cases nobody could figure out. Until one day I went into a crisis and finally a neurologist recognized my rare history and came back and said you are not crazy, I know what’s wrong. I cried because after all these years I had a answer. I was relieved.
