The story of Ella
Ella is six years old and a warrior princess! Diagnosed with Pachygyria at the age of 4, she battles cerebral palsy, Autism, seizure disorder, developmental delays, and severe ADHD as a result of of this brain condition that is caused due to abnormal migration of nerve cells in the developing brain and nervous system. Currently, no research is being done for treatment for this disease. Only the symptoms are managed for those born with Pachygyria. This only occurs in 1 in every 100,000 births. Ella’s heart, kindness, and smile far outweigh any battles she may face. She is definitely a princess in the eyes and hearts of those in our family and community.
