The story of Grace
Grace was diagnosed with Cystinosis age 3 years old. Cystinosis is a rare metabolic disease with only 1 in 200,000 live births each year being born with this disease.
Grace has been through growth hormone, a renal transplant in 2016 with her dad being her live donor.
Today she battles with water infections which can see her hospitalised for a few days to make her feel better.
Grace is currently studying health and social care at college and one day would like to become a qualified nurse helping other children get better.
