The story of Regina
Hello my name is Gina . I was diagnosed with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome 2 years ago next month. The day I got the news is the day my life died. I have had to learn to live again as someone else this past 2 yrs. Someone who cannot work as a nurse helping others anymore because I can barely help myself. Someone who loved getting up everyday now gets up and goes out maybe once or twice a week because the pain is unbearable. I have problems walking on my left leg but I try to stand tough and hide it from the world trying so badly to remain myself as long as possible. The pain fear and anxiety after 2 years is getting the best of me though and taking a toll on my marriage and relationship with my kids . Its time to let go of the old me and be proud of the NEW me God has given.
