Ghana got involved in Rare Disease Day for the first time in 2018! Participants enthusiastically wore face paint as part of the #ShowYourRare campaign and spread awareness by distributing leaflets.
Rare Disease Day 2020 in Ghana saw a three day ‘Reframe Rare’ event creating awareness and increasing interest around rare diseases. Activities included a school activation event and a symposium for all members of the community.Â
