European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure (EPTRI)

EPTRI is a research Consortium of 26 partners from 19 EU/Associated countries, aimed to promote the research and development of paediatric medicines as well as harness awareness of the importance of paediatric research, also in the field of rare diseases by designing a Research Infrastructure entirely dedicated to paediatrics. The relevance of EPTRI is of undoubtable relevance for the patients and the patients’ organisations because it can lead to a dramatic improvement of the health conditions of children, also enhancing the paediatric patients’ involvement and empowerment. Building awareness of rare diseases and promotion of research in this field is a heartfelt subject for EPTRI, that is aimed to try to bridge the gap represented by the lack of medicines children-tailored. For this reason, EPTRI has the pleasure to support the “Rare Diseases Day” initiative and raise awareness about this important theme, promoting the initiative among its partners and supporters and showing its support on its official website and social media.
