This year campaign is continuing our activities initiated in 2013 and will make more visible the AGU and AJC contribution and efforts to increase awareness of rare disorders at the professional and society level. This year campaign will focus on:
• Press Releases in Arabic and English Newspapers & Magazines.
• Informative data posted in RDD team Social Media accounts.
• Rare disease day team TV and Radio interviews.
• Rare disease day team schools contests.
• Rare disease day team Arabian Gulf University Medical students’ contests.
• Public Awareness Campaign in Seef Mall Bahrain 25-26 Feb 2022.
• Care for Rare support group webinar 27 of Feb 2022.
• RDD Team Bahrain 10 years anniversary leaflet.
• Arabian Gulf University and AlJawhara C online support share your colours , 28 of Feb 2022 at 7pm in Bahrain time.
The public awareness campaign on 28 of Feb 2022, Seef mall, has as goal to interact with the society in order to increase the awareness about the rare diseases people, the latest science achievements toward better treatments and about how society can contribute to improve the life quality of the patients and of their families.
Care for Rare support group will have a webinar for rare disorders patients and families, entitled “SHOW YOUR COLOURS” on date 27 Feb 2022 – Zoom platform, to learn from the difficult and long journey of rare disorders and to offer support and guidance for day by day life. The webinar will have as guests international patients associations and Bahraini rare disorders people together with professionals and academics.
