On the 28th of February, Trinity College Dublin will be lit up in purple as we celebrate Rare Disease Day from 11:30am – 5:30pm at Tangent, Trinity Business School. During this day, ‘Rare’ will also stand for “Research Act Resource Educate”. Ulysses Neuroscience Ltd. is hosting an in-person and a live-streamed event, in solidarity with the globally-coordinated movement on rare diseases, working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis and therapies for people living with a rare disease. It will be the first time that different Irish Rare Disease Associations and scientists from academia come together to meet and share their stories. With 21 speakers including 13 patient organisations, researchers and clinicians, we are very excited to raise awareness for rare disease.
