Lupus Alert is marking Rare Disease Day (Tuesday, February 28) with an appeal for people to donate their blood. Patients with rare disease sometimes struggle to have easy access to the matched blood they need. Our aim for the day is to encourage and promote voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation and raise awareness on rare diseases in Mauritius.
