Training and scientific Mini-Symposium Rare Diseases Day "Rare means strong" will be organized by the Prof. dr. Stanislaw Popowski Regional Specialized Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn (Warmia and Mazury Region, Poland) on 29 February 2020. The Mini-Symposium will mainly focus on diagnosing rare diseases using next generation sequencing methods (NGS) – innovative methods giving the ability to identify and describe new diseases. The possibilities of personalized and mutation-dedicated therapies in patients with selected rare diseases will also be discussed. We will host pediatric patients at various stages of making the final diagnosis using NGS techniques and introducing personalized therapy. An exhibition of special drawings of our Hospital patients related to the subject of Rare Diseases Day will also be organized.

Mini-Symposium place: Olsztyn, Żołnierska 18A, Conference Room (I stage) - Prof. dr. Stanislaw Popowski Regional Specialized Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn.

Mini-Sympozjum time: 29 February 2020 - 9:00 A.M-16:15 P.M.

Wojewódzki Specjalistyczny Szpital Dziecięcy im. prof. dr Stanisława Popowskiego w Olsztynie z okazji Dnia Chorób Rzadkich organizuje Mini-Sympozjum szkoleniowo-naukowe „Rzadki znaczy silny”. Mini-Sympozjum będzie poświęcone diagnostyce chorób rzadkich z wykorzystaniem metod sekwencjonowania następnej generacji oraz spersonalizowanym terapiom.
