On February 28, 2021 the Center for Rare Diseases Research Center of the School of Medicine, New Vision University organized a conference dedicated to Rare Disease Day and urgent issues related with the problem of rare diseases in the country.The conference held online brought together doctors, researchers and students, as well as patients affected by rare diseases and their parents. 

The Rare Disease Research Center is a joint project of the School of Medicine by the New Vision University and the Georgian Foundation for Genetic and Rare Diseases, created with the aim to explore and promote of rare diseases and contribute to their research.
