RaDiOrg organised a full digital media campaign with 2 objectives: raising awareness on rare diseases towards the larger public and stakeholders & raising fund for research in Belgium. The campaign will make the invisible rare diseases patients visible with the concept of “not a unicorn”. Contrary to unicorns that everyone knows but that no one has ever seen, 500.000 rare diseases patients do exist! The campaign will be supported by ambassadors and influencers throughout different social media. This campaign will run in February with the highlight on Rare Disease Day. In addition, a national fundraising campaign for research is launched in a unique collaboration with all 8 officially recognized Belgian medical rare disease centers.
