The CMID, Coordination Center of the Interregional Network for Rare Diseases of Piedmont and Valle D’Aosta, organizes in collaboration with the Forum A-Rare, which brings together over 40 patient associations operating on the the regional territory organizes two days of events starting on Friday 26 February. An online conference “Rare diseases and Covid-19: a balance sheet after a year of pandemic” was organized on Friday 26 February from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conference will will have as speakers health professionals and representatives of rare disease associations discussing this delicate issue from a multi-professional perspective. Among other regional and national experts, Vittorio Demicheli, Epidemiologist, President of the AIFA Scientific Committee for vaccine surveillance, and the well-known meteorologist Luca Mercalli who will speak about environmental sustainability and health will participate.The culmination of the initiatives will take place on the night of Saturday 27 February with the suggestive projection of the logo of rare diseases on the Mole Antonelliana.
