Uno Sguardo Raro – the rare disease international film festival

On December 7th 2018 the call for the "Uno Sguardo Raro" festival, the International Film Festival on the theme of rare diseases, expires. USR Festival was launched to tell what it means to live in a different way and to stimulate innovative communication registers with high emotional impact to narrate the rare diseas community. The appointment with the Festival is in Rome, this year with 5 days of events: January 30th at the public library Goffredo Mameli, on the 31th of January and February 1 2019 with meetings and projections that are not in competition at the Roberto Rossellini Institute and on 2 and 3 February 2019 at the “Casa del Cinema”, with the works in competition.
The call for applications, free of charge, is open to professionals and non-professionals for Italian short films and international short films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, animated short films of maximum 15 minutes, documentaries of maximum 20 minutes and - new entry for this year - the spot "A rare look" of 30 seconds, reserved for all Italian university students of cinema and arts and entertainment.
The works will be judged and awarded by a quality jury presided by the actor Gianmarco Tognazzi. Another important award is the one decreed by the public in the hall. The FERPI, Italian Federation of Public Relations will decide on the Communication award. Other important prizes are being defined for a new edition of the Festival full of surprises.
