A rare disease is diagnosed - what's next?

Hosted by Institute for Rare Diseases
Israel first joined in with Rare Disease Day celebrations in 2010 with a conference that focused on different aspects of care for people living with a rare disease, as well as information about several specific rare diseases.
Each year since 2010, a full day conference is been held to bring together all who are related to the care of Rare Diseases in Israel - health care professionals, researchers, pharmaceutical representatives, patient organizations, decision makers, rare patients and families, etc. - to discuss and share the reality of life with a rare disease, and to increase awareness to the field of Rare Diseases.
In 2020, the Institute for Rare Diseases at the Sheba Medical Center will once again host The Sixth Annual International Rare Disease Day - a full day conference carrying the theme – "A rare disease is diagnosed - what's next?"
The conference will touch upon various aspects related to the family's needs once their child has been diagnosed with a rare disease.
