The Global Commission to End the Diagnostic Odyssey for Children with a Rare Disease (“the Global Commission”) is a multidisciplinary group of experts formed by Takeda, Microsoft and EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe with the creativity, technological expertise and commitment required to accelerate time to diagnosis and make a major difference in the lives of millions of children and their families. The Global Commission will officially share its actionable roadmap and pilot projects in a series of three global launch events during February of 2019.
Live launch events will take place in New York, Brussels and Beijing during February 20th and 28th with an option to stream the New York event online. With a focus on technology-driven solutions, the Global Commission’s roadmap will capture the work that the Commission has completed since its formation early in 2018, and its recommendations to shorten time to diagnosis for children with rare diseases worldwide.
