Rare Disease Day Symposium 2018 - WA Insights in Lights
28 February 2018
Hosted by Genetic and Rare Disease Network
Genetic and Rare Disease Network, the Western Australian Health Translation Network, the Western Australian Register of Developmental Anomalies and Rare Voices Australia are bringing together a range of presenters who will talk about rare disease research from a patient, scientific and medical perspective.
Western Australians are doing exceptional work in the rare disease area and the Symposium seeks to showcase this, as well as our hopes for the future for people living with rare conditions. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussion and we look forward to seeing as many people there as possible.
Details of the day, including topics and speakers will be sent out soon.
Registrations are strictly limited so book your ticket early. There is a nominal cost of $10 to attend the event but if you would like to apply for support to attend, please email us at [email protected]
Following the Rare Disease Day Symposium there will be a gathering on the Terrace for canapes and inaugural Rare Disease Day Awards 2018. For more information and tickets visit the Rare Disease Day Awards event page.
Our partners so far for the event are the Western Australian Health Translation Network (WAHTN), Rare Voices Australia (RVA) and the Western Australian Register of Developmental Anomalies (WARDA) and we are very appreciative of their support and the opportunity to collaborate on this program.
