We are really pleased to announce our virtual Rare Disease Day event. We are holding a virtual Afternoon Tea with guest speakers Aine Lawlor and Samantha Kenny as well as some interesting contributions from our members. Aine Lawlor is living with 22q11.2 and Samantha Kenny is mum to Ava who is living with Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome.
Aine will speak about living with a rare disease, how it affects her and what she’s accomplished and Samantha will speak about the challenges and rewards of raising a child with a rare condition.
We would love if our RARE Ireland members can join us on the 28th February to mark Rare Disease Day 2021.
