Mrs Berglund, RN, PhD has been working with how life is functioning when having this syndrome. The first studies were interviews and questionnaires about daily life, symptom descriptions and foot problems. One paper also focused on humiliation in contacts with health care. The purpose of current research is to describe the types and frequency of food hypersensitivity, bowel problems, oral health and nutrition in this group. This knowledge is important for this group in daily life and when in contact with health care.
