With less than 2 weeks until Rare Disease Day 2016, each one of us can show our solidarity as together we raise awareness for people living with a rare disease and their families. Find below 5 things you can do to get involved on this special day.
From Australia to Mexico, from all-ability runs to chilli cook-offs, there are all different types of events all over the world! Check out what is happening near you. Contact the patient organisation or medical professionals who organise the event and ask how you can volunteer!
There's still time to appear on the Rare Disease Day website by posting a picture, video or testimonial about living with or caring for someone with a rare disease. Be part of the community and inform others of your personal experiences.
Download for free the communications materials and hang them in your office or at your school. You'll find a poster, information pack and flyer.
Take a picture of you, your family, friends, or colleagues raising and joining hands to stand in solidarity with people living with a rare disease. You can Join us in making the voice of rare disease heard!
