EURORDIS Rare Disease Day Event—Multi-Stakeholder Symposium
24 February 2016
Hosted by EURORDIS
To mark the occasion of Rare Disease Day 2016, EURORDIS is holding a Multi-Stakeholder Symposium on Improving Patient Access to Rare Disease Therapies.
The event will take place from 24 - 25 February 2016 with the collaboration of a range of multi-stakeholder partners. It will directly address the pressing issue of improving patient access to rare disease therapies. Event speakers include Vytenis Andriukaitis, European Commissioner for Health & Food Safety.
The opening session (10:30 - 14:30 GMT+1) on 24 February will be live web streamed and open to anyone with an internet connection.
We invite everyone to join the interactive session online: rare disease patients, their families and carers, as well as policy makers, industry representatives, researchers and health professionals.
If you are participating online, you can send us your questions on the day via the live stream chat box or via Twitter using #RareEU2016.
